Khurram Nizami

Mr. Nizami brings a broad range of skills to the practice of law.
His specialty is commercial, technology and entertainment litigation
and consulting, as well as international dispute resolution. Mr.
Nizami is also intimately familiar with domain name topics, such
as portfolio management, virtual asset acquisition, and reclamation
via international arbitration. An accomplished technologist, Khurram
also holds technical certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Oracle Certified
Professional in Database Administration, and Cisco Certified Network
Engineer. Before entering the legal profession, Khurram worked as
an IT instructor and as a technical writer for a data analytics
and integration company.
Mr. Nizami's legal expertise derives from several sources. He obtained
his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA, following an
undergraduate career at the University of California, Berkeley.
Prior to joining Genga & Associates, P.C., he assisted judges
at the Appellate Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court with
researching appeals and drafting related rulings. Currently, Mr.
Nizami is admitted to practice before the California State Bar,
the United States District Court for the Central District of California
and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Khurram recently authored an official public comment regarding
ICANN’s Generic Names Supporting Organization (“GNSO”)’s Policy
Development for the Introduction of New Generic Top Level Domains
(“gTLDs”).
